Crystal Lake Fishing

 

Crystal Lake is a exceptionally beautiful lake with its crystal clear waters situated at the foot of rolling hills near the Lake Michigan shore. Crystal Lake is very uniform in width. The west end of the lake is within a half-mile of Lake Michigan, from which it is separated by sand dunes. An outlet flows into the Betsie River, which empties into Lake Michigan via Betsie Lake. Smallmouth Bass fishing is typically best along the south shore where several cribs and old pilings are found. Lake Trout fishing is good throughout the year aound the deeper holes in Crystal Lake where there is a maximum depth of 162 feet.
